NON-COMPETITIVE FOOD AND WINE COMPETITION

Bib collection

During the days leading up to the competition it will be possible to pick up your bib at the race office located at the Becca Village at the Guido Saba Sports Area in Plan Félinaz (Charvensod) at the following times:

  • Thursday 18 July from 18:00 to 21:00;
  • Saturday 20 July from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm

At the same time, the bib will be given the t-shirt of the event and a bracelet that each athlete must wear and which allows entry to the reserved areas (refreshments) and free access to the Aosta-Pila cable car for the return.

Departure

The start of the walk will be in Le Bourneau near the capital of Charvensod where, in the square in front of the chapel of Saint Fabien and Saint Sebastien, stage number 1 will be set up: ‘ Petit déjeuner'. From 8:00 a.m., breakfast will be distributed to participants. Once the participants in the competitive races have passed the village of Charvensod, the Gourmands will also begin their Montée (approximately around 8:50 am).

Where to park

The organization advises Gourmands to park their cars at the square of the Aosta/Pila cable car and to walk up to the capital, along the route marked specifically for the race. In this way you will have the double advantage of having a good muscle awakening early in the morning and leaving the cars in a strategic position for the return. Alternatively, you can go up to the capital and look for a parking space in the area... but once back you will have to look for a ride or do a little again’ of ascent!
