The association "Becca di Nona 3142 a.s.d.", in collaboration with the Charvensod MunicipalityOrganizes "La Montée des Gourmands" non-competitive food and wine walk on the paths of theAosta – Becca di Nona which will take place Sunday 17 July 2022. The registrations, addressed to adults, open the 15 May and will close on June 30, 2022 or upon reaching 200 registered participants.
The test consists of a walk in stages (non-competitive), with various food and wine tastings – this year offered by the Cooperative Cofruits of Saint-Pierre – in a natural environment that develops on roads, paths, mule tracks, in the territories of the Municipality of Charvensod.
'The Montée des Gourmands, which this year we propose again after the forced stop of the pandemic, – Says Patrick Ronzani, Councillor for the Environment, Agriculture and Territory of the Municipality of Charvensod – it is an original and winning formula, which by combining sport, nature, good food, celebration and joy, allows us to make our territory known and promoted».
The route with a development of about 7 km and a positive difference in height of 1350 meters will be divided into "greedy" stages where members can taste the products of the territory. «Every 300 meters of difference in altitude the participants will be able to rest and recharge their energies in the eno-gastronomic points where the best selections of products of the Valle d'Aosta will be available, from cold cuts to cheeses, passing from yogurt, honey and much more! – Says Joel Albaney of the Committee Becca di Nona 3142 – Everything will then be accompanied by the folk and musical groups from the Aosta Valley».
The Montée des Gourmands that is "the rise of gourmets", it is made possible thanks to the involvement of exceptional partners. "We are very happy to be present with the products of our members at this important event – States Renzo Bionaz, President of the Cofruits Cooperative, event sponsor – with which we share the goal of making known and enhancing the eno-gastronomic excellence of our territory». As for the wine part, the presence of the Jeunes Vignerons.
It will be possible to register for the event both online through the portal endu.net, and at the following partners Technosport (Plan Félinaz Charvensod), in stores Sports Gal (Autoporto Pollein and at the departure of the Aosta-Pila cable car).
