The race takes place in complete autonomy. There are no refreshments along the route. Competitors must bring a minimum reserve of 0.5 liters of liquids (recommended 1 liter).

Along the way you can find some springs (Charvensod capital, Comboe, Arbolle).

MANDATORY MATERIAL

Please note that in addition to what is mentioned in art. 10 of the regulation, there will be the obligation for athletes to wear the UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme) approved helmet from the control point located near Lake Gelato to the finish line, no athlete in the race can proceed on this stretch of the route without wearing the helmet correctly worn and fastened.

Each athlete can entrust his helmet to a reference person who will deliver it to the interested party along the route, before the stretch in which it is mandatory to wear it.

RE-ENTRY

Once at the summit, the Emilius athletes will descend independently on foot to the Arbolle refuge where lunch will be served. The descent to the refuge will take place using the same path as the climb, therefore, we invite you to pay the utmost attention to avoid falling stones and to give priority to the athletes still in the race. Then we will continue towards Pila (Gressan) where, showing the bib, you can take advantage of free access to the cable car to reach Aosta.

PUBLIC AND FANS

The companions will have the opportunity to support the athletes and cheer them on at various points of the route. Given the impervious terrain in which the final part of the race takes place, the stretch of path that goes from Lake Gelato to the summit will be closed by a special ordinance that will allow access only to athletes and employees identified by the organization. To ensure the safe conduct of the event, the via ferrata of Mont Emilius will also be closed.
