NON-COMPETITIVE FOOD AND WINE COMPETITION

Art. 1 Organization

The "Becca di Nona 3142 a.s.d." association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Charvensod, organizes "La Montée des Gourmands" a non-competitive food and wine walk on the paths of Aosta - Becca di Nona which will take place on Sunday 21 July 2024.

Art. 2 Acceptance of the Regulation

The event will take place in accordance with these regulations, any changes and notices that will be published on the website www.beccadinona.it .

Participation in the aforementioned event involves the unreserved acceptance of this regulation in all its parts.

Competitors are also required to comply with the road code, particularly in sections where the track crosses the ordinary roadway which will not be closed to vehicle traffic.

With the registration each competitor commits to comply with this Regulation and frees the organizers from any civil or criminal liability for any accident or accident, for damage to persons or things derived to him or by himself caused, that may occur during the event.

Art. 3 Try

The test consists of a non-competitive walk with various food and wine tastings in a natural environment that runs through roads, paths, mule tracks, the territories of the Municipality of Charvensod with development of about 7 km and positive difference in height of 1350 meters.

Art. 4 Participation

The non-competitive race "La Montée des Gourmands" is open to all people who are 18 years of age or older on the date of the race.

Art. 5 How to sign up

Registration will open on May 15, 2024 and will close on June 30, 2024 or when 200 registered participants are reached.

Entries must be made in the following ways:

  • online through the NET portal (link to registrations available on the official website of the race www.beccadinona.it);

Art. 6 Entry fees

The registration fee for the test is 30 euros.

The payment of the registration includes all the services described in these regulations, the official t-shirt of the event, assistance and food and wine tastings.

There is no refund of the registration fee under any circumstances.

Art. 7 T-shirt

The official Montée des Gourmands t-shirt will be delivered at the same time as the bib is collected.

Art. 8 Mandatory material

With the registration each runner subscribes to the commitment to bring with them the mandatory material listed below during the entire test.

Mandatory material:

  • windproof jacket;

It is also recommended to bring the following materials with you:

  • warm clothing essential in case of cold weather forecast;
  • long trousers;
  • water reserve and food reserve;
  • thermal sheet;
  • headgear;
  • poles (the runner who intends to use them must keep them with him for the duration of the race).

Art. 9 Pettorals

Each bib is given individually to each competitor, or to a third party with a specific written proxy and including a photocopy of the delegating party's identity document. The bib must be worn on the chest or belly and be visible at all times and in its entirety throughout the race. It must therefore be placed on top of all clothing and under no circumstances fixed elsewhere. Before the start, each runner must be registered. The competitor must verify the registration at the checkpoints and at the finish line. Punching is therefore essential to ascertain the actual presence of the competitor. In case of failure to register the passage, the costs for the search for the runner will be charged to the runner himself.

Art. 10 Checkpoints and refueling posts

Only runners with a clearly visible bib number have access to the food and wine points.

On the website www.beccadinona.it The map of the route that will identify the refreshment points, the control point and the rescue points is published. The organization reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to inhibit the continuation of the competition to individual athletes if it detects dangerous conditions for their health and/or in the absence of safety conditions.

Art. 11 Maximum authorized time

The maximum time of the "La Montée des Gourmands" test, for the entirety of the route, is set at 5 hours.

In the event of bad weather and/or safety reasons, the organization reserves the right to suspend the current test, delay departure, vary the route or change the time barriers.

Art. 12 Leave and return

In the event of abandonment of the ride along the route, the competitor is obliged, as soon as he has the opportunity, to go to the nearest checkpoint to communicate his abandonment by registering. If the runner is not notified of withdrawal and the subsequent start of the runner's research, any resulting expenses will be charged to the runner himself.

Art. 13 Changes to the route, cancellation of the race

The organization reserves the right to change the route or location of rescue and refreshment places at any time, without warning. In the event of adverse weather conditions that put the safety of competitors at risk, the start can be postponed or cancelled, the route can be modified and reduced, or the ride can be stopped at any point on the track. The suspension or cancellation of the ride will not entitle competitors to any refund of the registration fee.

Art. 14 Route map

The topographic map of the route, in its most up-to-date edition, will be available on the official website of the race www.beccadinona.it. No paper copy of the route map will be given to the competitors.

Art. 15 Insurance

The organization signs liability insurance for the entire trial period. Participation takes place under the full responsibility of the competitors, who waive any appeal against the organizers in the event of damage and additional consequences that arise as a result of the race. At the time of registration the runner must sign a disclaimer.

Art. 16 Image rights

Each competitor expressly renounces the use of the image rights related to the test as well as waives any appeal against the organization and its enabled partners, for the use of its image.
