For July 15, the date on which the Aosta returns – Becca di Nona, a biennial skyrunning race of only ascent, from the center of the capital of Valdosta to the top of the mountain that dominates it, located in the municipality of Charvensod, the organizers have introduced some novelties. The most important is definitely the inclusion of a non-competitive walk called “La Montée des Gourmand” starting from Piazza Chanoux in Aosta (altitude 525m) and arriving in the magnificent valley of Comboé in Charvensod (altitude 2110m), 9 km of development for 1500 meters of positive difference in height. This event is characterized by the presence, every 300 meters in altitude, of gastronomic points with the best selections of products of the Aosta Valley, accompanied by the music of traditional folk groups from the Aosta Valley.
The Montée des Gourmands created in collaboration with the producers of Tascapan will have a limited number of bibs and will allow you to combine sport, nature, good food, celebration and joy in a new formula of knowledge and promotion of the territory.
“The idea of including a non-competitive one like the Montée des Gourmands – declares the Deputy Mayor of Charvensod Laurent Chuc – we believe that it is very important to involve in the Becca di Nona 2018 event, even less prepared people who can easily discover our beautiful territory and taste the excellence of the Aosta Valley.”
